Aftercare for your Tattoos!
 

 

Caring for your tattoo can differ depending on lifestyle, so aftercare instructions can also change. Consult with your

Tattoo Artist if you have any questions!

 

• Wash your hands before caring for your tattoo.

• Remove bandage when you get home. (Do not keep bandage on for longer than an hour.)

• Wash with warm water and mild soap, (Tattoo Goo soap or Dial Gold) pat dry with clean paper towel.

• 3-5 times a day apply a very thin layer of Tattoo Goo ointment, TatWax, or Aquaphor as needed for 3-4 weeks.

• Do not scratch or pick at your healing tattoo! Doing so will cause damage to your tissue that will lead to scarring.

• Avoid swimming or soaking until tattoo is fully healed. E.g.: pools, hot tubs, oceans, rivers, ponds, lakes, bath tubs

for  3 - 4 weeks.

• Use sunblock regularly after your tattoo is healed to keep your tattoo bright.

 

Never use Neosporin, Vaseline, scented lotions, or harsh soaps on your tattoo.

 

We offer one free touch up within the 3 months after your tattoo is healed. So make sure to call your artist and schedule one!
